FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q-What do you use to edit?
A- It depends on the needs of the recording. For sound issues (like leveling out or cleaning up vocals), I use ProTools. If it's a video podcast, I used Premiere Pro. And sometimes I use both!
Q- Can't I just have AI do all this?
A- Um, I guess most of it? But when it comes to sound, it's not always that simple. Apply a "tool" like a vocal denoiser on one piece of audio, and it might work. But apply it to another, and it sounds like the person talking is recording under water. When I edit vocals, sometimes I have to tweak endlessly to find that sweet spot. And when the "fix" ends up making it more distracting, I usually opt for leaving it the original way.
Q- I have a great idea, but what if I'm nervous to record?
A- TOTALLY NORMAL. Podcasting is a form of performing! I happen to have a background in performance (dancing and singing), but that doesn't mean it is/was always a walk in the park. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to believe in yourself, look at yourself in the camera, watch and listen to yourself in playback, and just overall get rid of the jitters and shake in your voice. I'll give you recording tips, "stage" tips, vocal tips, warm up tips, etc.
Q- Where are you located?
A- Colorado, USA. I live in the Rocky Mountains, so MST time zone, but I work with podcasters in multiple countries.
Q- Why should I use a small company like yours and not a bigger one with more editors?
A- If a bigger company appeals to you, by all means! I am not for everyone. But what I do offer is a very personal touch. I do not outsource my work. It's me editing, me communicating with you, me creating.

Q- Do you have your own podcast?

A- Not at the moment, no. But a friend of mine and I have talked about maybe doing one in the future centered around fertility. It's something near and dear to my heart.

Q- Do you sing anymore?

A- For fun these days, but that doesn't mean I'd never do something again. Stay tuned, I guess?
